July 4th they had a flash flood in the town where he is serving. I managed to get a few photos from a sweet facebook friend of mine (thanks Ricki) and have done a couple of layouts. So without further ado...here they are.
Here is the journaling for the "Hands of Service"...the photo just said so much to me...it wasn't about the hail stones at all but about Jeremy and his willingness to serve.
"Jeremy sent this photo home so we could see the hail that they had on the fourth of July in Inkom Idaho. when I looked at the photo what really caught my eye, wasn’t the hail at all. It was his hands Hands that once were tiny and held on to mine as he learned how to walk. Hands that built amazing lego creations as a young boy. Hands that massaged my shoulders when I had a headache. Hands that worked in our yard or emptied the dishwasher. Hands that he folded in prayer. Hands that prepared the sacrament. Hands that throughout his life have chosen to serve others and by choosing to serve others he has chosen to serve our Heavenly Father.Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matt. 25:40
I am so blessed to be your Mom. I love you always."
